Port of Montreal Wins 5th Consecutive Cruise Insight Award

For the fifth year in a row, the Port of Montreal has won an award for its cruise operations from Cruise Insight magazine.

This year the port received the prize for Most Efficient Port Services, an award that recognizes its efficiency in welcoming 48,418 international cruise ship passengers in 2012 – a 60% increase from the previous year. The port’s personnel and its partners involved in the Montreal Cruise Committee deserve credit for ensuring that Montreal’s cruise business continues to grow.

The 2013 cruise season begins on May 18 and ends on October 23. Passenger numbers are expected to equal if not surpass last year’s record.
